Special Event Seating: All creators who submit and are accepted to this event will automatically receive reserved seating for themselves and up to five (5) others for the duration of the A-Kon® "H"-fest - provided that all attending individuals are able to present proof of age at the event door. Proof of age is the display of a government issued, photo ID that contains a valid birth date such as a driver's license or passport.

Eligibility Requirements: All creators must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.

This contest is an open contest to all creators, enthusiasts, beginners and casual editors who would like to submit their video and receive feedback or compete in an adult content contest format. This contest is part of a special, restricted age event.

Restrictions and Requirements

Submission Requirements: All submissions must be a new submission to A-Kon® and must have been completed within the 18 month period prior to the contest. Participants in this event are eligible to submit to any other A-Kon® AMV contests.

Submission Content: Overt or abundant sexual (fan service) references and/or use of profanity in the song is required for submissions to this event. All material submitted must adhere to a rating of NC-17 by MPAA standards for animated material skewed towards highly provocative content. Submissions that are below this rating category will be disqualified from competition and will not be shown at the convention.

Unintentional Subtitles and Watermarks: We understand that some of you use source footage from television or other watermarked sources. Submissions which contain a watermark will not be disqualified for poor video quality; however, submissions containing unintentional subtitles, highly pixilated source footage (non-SFX) or other visual and auditory defects will be disqualified. Bumpers, Logos and Credits: Bumpers, logos or credits will be allowed in this event provided they are intended to compliment the submission content for effect. (humor, etc.) Custom video bumpers will also be created by the contest staff to ensure each creator/studio receives proper credit and recognition for their hard work. Please note that if you use more than one or two shows, your footage will be labeled as various on the custom contest bumper.

Legal Disclaimer: Due to legal requirements, we must verify the age of each attendee for this event. Each individual who wishes to attend this event must provide a government issued, photo ID confirming their age at the event door. Additionally, A-Kon® Video Events Staff reserves the right to request proof of age for any creator submitting to this event before accepting their submission.
